On Dec 30th 2020 I underwent a relatively complex Urological procedure at St George's Hospital Tooting. Naturally I experienced a degree of nervousness in the build up. This was performed under local anaesthetic with sedation both administered by the charming Doctor Liban. I found his calm and confident approach to be entirely reassuring from our first meeting at the pre-op assessment as was his 'bed side manner' in the anaesthetic room where everything was carried out seamlessly - from the 'sharp scratch' comment when I didn't feel a thing. During the procedure naturally I was pulled about with Cystoscope and laser being inserted the sedation really made it a much calmer experience than I has anticipated.

An absolutely brilliant anaesthetist. He provided excellent clinical care of the highest standard pre-op, per-op and post-op. Highly recommended.

Went in for a circumcision. Very nervous. He was excellent, as was his assistant. I am now significantly less worried about operations if I am ever to have them in the future.

Superb medical care from Dr Liban during my stay at Parkside Hospital. He came in every day to check up on my progress and I can't recommend him enough.

I have had a few GAs in my time and I can't say I have ever add a bad experience it's just been a case that the Anaestheist has done their job well but haven't until now thought much about them. However Dr Liban stands out now, what a nice man, i met him at St Anthonys and he immediately put me at ease, he worked with a member of his team (sadly didn't catch his name) they worked really well together and had a lovely relaxed humour between them. So much so that any anxiety I had was dispelled as I was too busy enjoying their banter. Then the next thing I remember is coming around in the recoverly room. Dr Liban came to visit me the next day and check everything was ok. All I can say is that when I have my next GA I hope Dr Liban is the anaesthetist.
